Prepaid & pricing

The API bills against a prepaid balance in euros. Every request is deducted from the balance at the prices in the model list.

Starting credit​

New accounts get €1 of starting credit. It applies only to the self-hosted models in Augsburg.

Unlocking partner models​

Partner models (aki-io/…, mistral/…, telekom/…, tensorx/…) unlock with your first top-up (minimum €5). Without a top-up the API answers 403 permission_denied for these models.

Topping up​

Top up in the console under Billing.

The service fee is a separate line item and is not deducted from the balance. Example: on a €20 top-up the fee is €1.40 (5.5 % of €20 = €1.10 + €0.30), and €20 is credited to the balance.

Auto-recharge​

Optionally, the console tops up automatically when the balance falls below €5. Available amounts: €10, €25, €50 or €100.

Empty balance​

At €0 the API always stops, regardless of budgets: requests get 402 payment_required. See Errors.

Team plan​

For companies with several people:

  • €27 net per month for up to 3 people, €9 for each additional person.
  • 14-day free trial.
  • The team uses a shared company balance; the owner manages members, budgets and model approvals, see Console & team administration.

When the plan is paused, members get 403 company_plan_paused.
